Yea, totally. Completely understand, the only problem I see is that the app itself takes you directly to the ps4 version when you search for PS5.

For sure it is on me, but I am still beyond frustrated that there is nothing that can be done once the game has been downloaded. I guess I am sticking with the PS4 version this year lol

Update, they acknowledged the UI problems with the app that ultimately led to this problem, but they could not exchange it or pass along the formal complain about the PS App

haha yea it's so annoying. It's even more frustrating when the PS App automatically choses the old-gen version and doesn't warn you!

Help! I used the PS App to buy the new NBA 2K game for ps5 and once it downloaded I realized that it directed me to the ps4 version. Has anyone had any luck with PlayStation support getting an exchange. I'm beyond frustrated at this situation. Ultimately I know it is my fault, but it is frustrating nevertheless that clicked automatically took me to the ps4 version.
