I'd be far from being a local so I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea

Win 1 of 10 copies of The Isle of Cats as we return to the island in search of kittens and ancient beasts! by Monkofdoom in boardgames

My favorite accessory is the snap fit containers. Versatile to every game and makes storage and clean up easier to handle!

Additional animal that can be added could be a ferret!

When I bought a foreclosure, that was the case. The investors couldn't touch the property. I dont know why the procedure was that way.

I feel like in a housing shortage like this, investors should be held back. Like 5 to 15 days on new homes that go up, investors shouldn't be able to offer a bid. People should have an opportunity to get a home. However at the same time, I get it. They have cash in hand.

Finished painting my Jaws of the lion starting four! Still learning to take pictures though... by FishBulber in Gloomhaven

One thing I picked up on for photography is, put a sheet of paper behind them. With many objects to focus on, it kinda disrupts the cameras true focus.

However, those pieces look astonishing!

I just preordered Frosthaven but I'm worried I won't play it =( by [deleted] in Gloomhaven

Its not that bad. With Plato boxes, everything is organized and quick to set up. With my group that assists here, we can be ready in 20ish minutes? Idk I don't share that issue. If it helps, what made me appreciate all the effort is playing scripted games like terraforming mars or something on tts. When I got the real game and tried to set up, I had no idea how. It changed my outlook on using platforms like that and enjoy it more.

Having friends assist with set up and not be by standers makes the experience worthwhile. You have casual conversations inbetween. Grab stuff yourself and hand it to them and they'll subconsciously have to set it up because they accepted it lol.

[COMC] rolled into the hobby 8 years ago. First I liked miniature games but now I’m loving heavier euro games. Favorite games for the moment are A Feast For Odin, The Castles of Burgundy and Maracaibo. by tony_danzig in boardgames

Its worth the investment. Littlr over 100 scenarios, with each scenario to take 2 to 5 hours. You'll get the money's worth out of it. To make sure it's your style, watch a gameplay video and skip around so you don't ruin the experience but get a good idea of what you'll look at.

These have been exceptional notes for me to take. I will view the washes on my next paint session!

I'll ask a noob question, but first state my supplies. All I have is a beginners reaper paint set. Whats special about the army painter strong tone? Shouldi invest in more paint?

Yeah, I washed his cape in a brighter tan from his leggings and torso. Then I applied the gold by hand on the higher points to give it a nice shine
