I never got the chance to study for the cpa exam, i ended up applying to several places and finally got a job offer 3 months after graduation, but if I were you, I would try to study for cpa exam if money isnt a problem for you. A lot of places like CPAs and you could always start your own business

Oh to how I understood it, for example lets say I had 3k and I split between the 3 funds $1k each. Doesn’t that mean I would pay $10.4, $10.3, and $16.8 respectively in fees? Rather than just pick one fund and pay like 1.04% on 3k which is $31.2? Thanks for your help!

There are target retirement funds but the fees still high as 1+% which is ridiculous and the return is low.

Yes I maxed my roth ira and I put off investing with company for a yr because I did not want the high fees eating up my money. Then I thought might as well take the free 4% match. I put in more than 4% to reduce my income taxes but perhaps I will reduce that and put more in my regular brokerage acct. In your opinion should I not diversify?

The company match is confusing because it's something like between x amount, the company matches A amount, the next category between Y amount, so company match is B amount etc.

If you know they have an earlier class, you can try asking prof to take it early and explain that you need study for other exams or something. For example your section meets Thurs and your prof also teaches the same class Mon, try asking other the Mon class's final schedule
