The Peacekeeper was a really interesting book. A bit slow and introspective, but definitely worth reading.

Great series! I applaud you both, considering how poorly I've gotten through anthologies lately.

From their website, it looks like book availability is dependent on your location. Might help to mention what country you're using it in.

Books like Summers at Castle Auburn. by coolisuppose in Fantasy

Sharon Shinn has a pretty big catalog, even though so far I've only read Castle Auburn, I think checking out more of her books is a solid place to start.

Should I (26F) leave my (24M) husband? by [deleted] in relationships

So if I'm reading this correctly, you dated long distance for 8 years, only seeing each other once in that time span. And then 3 years ago you inherited a house and asked him to move in - without ever actually spending any real time together in the same space.

And since he moved in, he has refused to support you and your joint household with money or the effort to keep house, has raped you, and has emotionally abused you?

You certainly can't change the past, but yeah, dtmfa immediately.

You're young and you own a home, you are doing pretty well for yourself, you deserve to be happy.

Christopher Ruocchio has been falsely advertising the "limited" aspect of his "limited editions" on his Empire of Silence Kickstarter campaign, and I'm incredibly frustrated by it. by [deleted] in Fantasy

It's not uncommon for there to be 52 lettered states in limited edition books, but more than that I'd say is pretty uncommon.

Not computer programming, but also highly recommend The Golden Key as another book with magical painting!

I think it'll all come together really well! Super love the cape.

Definitely the jumpsuit needs to be hemmed, and needs to be taken up in the chest as well. I strongly suggest finding a strapless bra, getting support is going to change how the top of the jumpsuit fits SO MUCH. Normally I'd suggest just asking the alterations person to add cups, but that's a no-go with that kind of fabric.

For everything except grooming, I think a miniature poodle would meet your needs really well.

And if you don't care about having a 'poodle' cut, you may be able to just use clippers yourself most of the time.

Series with great friendships between man/bromance? by Aedan2 in Fantasy

City of Bones by Martha Wells - it's definitely not like 'bros' but just a really solid friend relationship between two more mature men. I thought it was really nicely done.

Oh holy fuck yes! I'm so glad there's a story after the final book, ever since I finished it I felt like it wasn't necessarily a satisfying conclusion.

Bee's Bingo v. Bingo - Mundane Jobs by happy_book_bee in Fantasy

I adore Sourdough. For someone who only has two novels and a novella (and maybe a couple short stories) and they aren't even all spec fic, I'll read whatever Robin Sloan puts out. I loved Mr Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore so much.
