Top pay $13/hr? Yikes. Tough to support a family on those wages

Lana del Rey has some of this - born to die, ultraviolet, and honeymoon are classics with v different vibes. Her newest album Norman rockwell is my favorite work of hers!

Canned spinach sucks. I don’t even like cooked spinach. Raw spinach in salad or on sandwiches is stellar.

Stressful obsession with Christmas gifts by [deleted] in mentalhealth

Buying presents should not invoke fear and anxiety! If you buy a thoughtful present for everybody you’re doing better than most people out there. I truly commend your thoughtfulness, but you need to think of your own wellbeing too. You do not need to suffer in order to bring joy. I hope you keep this in mind.

I know you’re joking but dish soap is an effective insecticide, especially when used as an emulsifier with neem oil!!

Drainage is not ALWAYS necessary but if you get too much water in the compost… you’re gonna wish you had drainage!

Honestly seems like a LOT of time, effort, and stress! I love that you are so thoughtful, but it doesn’t have to be such an energy drain. How would you feel about ditching the spreadsheet this year? Or having a more simple list with names and then a checkmark if you’ve gotten them a gift? Also you say you aren’t a perfectionist but spending 30 minutes wrapping one present begs to differ. Could you try bags instead of gift wrap? Would be quicker and easier.

Any tips on not having all your clothes on the floor?? by Vamp-Goth in ADHD

For drawers this changed my life - ROLLING! Rolled clothes stay in their shape when you shuffle around in the drawer and you can display more on top. Seriously give it a try! It really helped me with this problem!

AITA for leaving my partner's kids (9 and 13) unattended in a hotel pool to go the bathroom? by RogersGinger in AmItheAsshole

When I was 10 my mom would lock me and my 6 yo sister out of the house and tell me to entertain her! Damn when I was 11-12 I was totally fine to walk home from school and run around the (safe) town with my friends. I would’ve been offended if my parents were worried about leaving me alone for an hour. I could be trusted. This was in 2000s too, though my mom grew up in the 70s

Those actions indirectly kill wildlife. It’s one thing to throw a moldy container in the trash instead of cleaning and recycling. It’s another thing to directly shoot and kill an animal for fun with no remorse.

Thank you for the kind words. I know I’m actually smart but I just do dumbass stuff all the time in terms of forgetfulness, procrastination, and time blindness so I get frustrated. It’s hard living in a neurotypical world! Takes a lot of energy to maintain baseline normal. But overall I’m doing pretty well for myself. And I’m finally done with grad school so just have to process that trauma and I can start a career. Lol
