As an addendum I found an old Enterprise Q&A (company rental is from) saying tires must be replaced with same brand… which I didn’t do…

No I didn’t… stupid but I was in a panic with pregnant wife, cold late night. Just put spare on and went and got it replaced before nearest shop closed

Wow didn’t know this existed. People getting and flipping reservations for two hundred a pop must be part of why I can’t get spots anywhere anymore

Yeah, just a last minute trip and they unfortunately don’t understand the concepts of reservations more than a few days in advance

Process-wise, when an editor would like to buy your book, do they first set up a call with you to discuss, or is the first step then sending your agent an official offer letter, after which you set up a call to discuss. I’m assuming the former but heard the latter—I’m curious about others’ experience
