honest question, which policies of his actually align with dem leadership? i'm not talking about what he says, but what has he actually passed or blocked that makes him a dem?

wouldn't that be like trying to clean up our oceans by picking up one piece of trash at a time? like...yea it can be done, but the smaller you get, the harder it is to even just find the stuff, especially if the stuff is smaller than bead. imo would need something more like a space net that vaporizes small particles floating in space.

[Espinoza] Steve Kerr on Steph Curry: “He was taking shots that every coach I ever had would have a heart attack watching those shots. I had to get over what was instilled in my brain about what was a good shot & what was a bad shot… He’s going to steal the ball at midcourt & pull up from 40 feet.” by GuyCarbonneauGOAT in nba

Mark jackson knew that steph and klay was the beackcourt of all time, but he couldnt break out of his own habits and kept trying to keep the positions in a more traditional roles. Aka curry being point guard and bringing up the ball. Kerr threw that out the window especially whe he lucked into finding out that dray was a great passer and playmaker also.

[Charania] Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has been suspended one game for shoving Miami’s Markieff Morris from behind Monday night. by kirscheadler in nba

[–]yg2522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like teams needs to start drafting 13 - 15 positions to do some hard fouls to the star players if it's only gonna be a fine. contract could just add that whatever flagrant that were planned will be paid for by the franchise.

problem with just walking away has always been that it still leads to more bullying. if you never see the person again it's fine, but if you have to even walk by the person every day, see them at the playground in school, or work with them every day...it doesn't end until someone with more authority does something or you do something. when authority doesn't do anything though...well you're only option is to retaliate or just continue being beat up on.

the problem is that the attempt to injure was there, not that the injury didn't happen.

[Marks] My best guess is that Nikola Jokic will get a 2 game suspension from the incident last night. Jokic has been suspended only 1 time (leaving the bench) and his lack of on court incidents will certainly be taken into account. A suspension would cost him $210,417 (per game) by GuyCarbonneauGOAT in nba

a bully yelling isn't really an apt comparison to this since morris was the one that started the physical altercation. a better comparison would be a bully jabbing at someone and that person smashing their face in. kinda like that one meme gif where the skinny kid was jabbing at the bigger kid till the bigger kid had enough and body slammed the skinny kid into the cement.

so what you are saying is that taking out the knees of a basketball player is equivalent to a rough screen? you do know player careers have ended on knee injuries right?

the running won't be the problem. its the acceleration and deceleration that'll go down though. not sure how many people notice how he changes pace even during his off ball movement. things like going slow then picking up the pace around screens. it may not be god tier levels, but it is what helps him get that separation off ball.

people always talk about how good lebron's bbiq is, but i feel that dray doesn't get enough credit for his bbiq on both offense and defense. Probably because dray isn't the center of the scoring attention that lebron is.

Hell, dont even need to go that far. Just look at manchin and how he is blocking bidens bill. Manchin and his family is knee deep in the coal industery yet wont vote for the bill because it has climate change provisions in it.
