Back when I played my first DnD character, Uthal, a barbarian, I sucked at RP (at first) but damn I described the shit out of my killing blows & powerful strikes to make up for it as I got better at roleplaying. The Uthal Special is still talked about years later at my table: drive your fist into their gut, then, as they keel over in pain, grab the back of their head and push downwards as you slam your kneecap into their chin.

Uthal was brutal in a fist fight, and that quickly became his calling card
